The impact of the introduction of 3D SPI on manufacturing


The defects related to solder paste printing are caused by irregularities. Only when we monitor the status of the printing press in real time can we significantly reduce the defect rate in the SMT process. Optimizing the printing process can improve the quality of the SMT process and achieve a higher level of yield.

1. After SPI detects any missing prints, it will issue instructions to the printer to clean the stencil; the printer will automatically perform the stencil cleaning action;


2. SPI transmits the XY axis offset found in the test to the printer, and the printer reads it to determine whether it needs to be corrected (multiple pieces can be referenced and determined by the printer user); and perform preset actions; improve printing quality.


3. Prerequisite: The printing machine needs to open the communication protocol to SPI, and the two parties research and develop to confirm the data can communicate in advance; currently, closed-loop control has been achieved with the GKG, Desen, and EKRA printing machines.

1. SPI transmits the detected bad board information to the placement machine; after the placement machine receives the relevant information, it directly skips the bad board for placement during placement; saves the placement machine that needs to be recognized by each sub-Mark Time greatly improves the mounting efficiency of multi-panels.


2. Implementation conditions: Since each board information needs to be one-to-one correspondence, each PCB must be mounted or printed with a barcode; SPI must be equipped with a barcode recognition module;


3. Prerequisites: The placement machine must open the communication protocol to SPI, and the placement machine must be equipped with the Badmark function that communicates with SPI; and the placement machine usually requires an extra charge.

Generally, the control line of SPC is calculated by a fixed formula according to the actual test.

If the same model is produced in different time periods or on different production lines, different control values will appear if calculated according to a fixed formula. Sinik-Tek can save the appropriate control line values according to the model name. The same model is produced on different production lines at different times, and the control lines are unified and controllable.


The parameters can be saved according to the model name and version number.

2. Real Time SPC


The current SPC generally calculates the X-Bar, R-chart, CP, and CPK values based on the actual data after the production is completed.
